Last of the Rustic Signs

Finishing up showing off the batch of rustic signs I recently painted for a craft show held here in northern Michigan.  These signs, like the others featured in the last two posts, started with typography created by me.  I hand painted and detailed the signs using chalk paint.  To distress them, I used several techniques:  sanding, antiquing, shading and flyspecking.
The sign above hangs by wire and features wood branches at the top and bottom.  The sign below is quite long and would look really nice on a fireplace mantle.

I hope you enjoyed this rustic sign series.
They were so fun to make, that I'm sure there will be more to show off!
