Announcing The Creative Pointe's "Creative Team"! These five ladies have agreed to become Premier Members of my new team. They will be creating cards, layouts and more with the new SVGs I'm making for the blog and for the Diecut Designers store. That means you will be seeing some AWESOME artwork that I know will inspire you. I'd like you to meet...
Bonnie
If you've been reading my blog, you are already familiar with Bonnie and her work. She used my shamrock file to create a beautiful card that was posted HERE. Bonnie is married with 3 grown children and says she has lots of time to paper-craft! You can check out all her great creations on her BLOG.
Jenn
I'll let Jenn introduce herself: "My name is Jennifer Smith-Sloane, but my friends call me Jenn. I am a teacher, scrapbooker, and even more a scrapbook teacher who calls East Texas home. I will soon be living on a 10 1/2 acre "ranch" with my husband, our 3 fur-babies and soon to be more farm friends! I have been crafting with my Cricut for the past five years and will be switching to an eCraft here in the near future! I can't wait to see where this wonderful world of being on a Creative Team for Creative Pointe takes me!" Jenn's inspiring blog can be found HERE.
Heather
Heather has been married for 14 years and has two children who she says are "the light of her life" but are at that stage in life where they are trying to find their limits. She and her family recently purchased a home in Florida after a seven year tour in Japan and Heather is EXCITED to be stateside again. Here's what she had to say: "In 2006 I picked up a crafting magazine to find something to pass the time after I left my full time job. In this magazine I saw a Cricut, quickly ordered it and did not immediately fall in love with crafting. While my DH was deployed, which required a SAHM for my 2DD's, I delved deeper into the crafting world and discovered blogs, message boards and all of the fun things crafting has to offer. I am honored to be part of this awesome Creative Team and I look forward to sharing my projects with all of you!" I know you'll enjoy checking out her wonderful BLOG.
Ellen
Ellen has been doing arts and crafts all her life, ranging from fads of decoupage, macrame, crewel work, beading, embroidery and now papercrafting. A journalist and writer by day, she married her loves of crafts and writing by starting her blog, http://www.cardmonkey-business.blogspot.com/, in June 2010. Ellen is married to the love of her life, John; they have a daughter and a son, as well as one granddaughter, who all live in Bucks County, PA, in a suburb of Philadelphia. "Probably the most unusual thing about me is that I am the elected chairwoman of my town's Board of Supervisors, sort of the mayor. We have a population of 33,000 and a budget of $27 million."
Victoria
Victoria comes from a “crafty” family and has felt the creative urge as long as she can remember. From drawing and painting, to needlecrafts, Victoria dabbles in it all, but papercrafting is her passion. She also has a tendency to squirrel away craft supplies and has been trying to overcome her aversion to cutting into the “good” paper. You can see her creations at http://papersquirrel.blogspot.com/.
Victoria has worked in the furniture industry for nearly 13 years and lives in Southeast Michigan with her “boys”…two crazy cats that keep her laughing.
These ladies have already been busy creating....Ellen was the first to turn one of my SVG files into a beautiful card and Jenn just sent me a picture of her super cute artwork. Check back tomorrow when I'll be sharing their work!
