DAY 7
What a great, great week this has been sharing my pets with all of you and in turn reading YOUR stories of your beloved pets. It seems that not only do we share a love of creating, we also share a love of our animals. Today I have a few last Millie and Louie layouts for you and if you scroll down to the next posts, you'll see a Doberman SVG file and a special cat digital stamp that you can print and use as instant artwork.
I've used the same style layout for the first page in all three of my dog scrapbooks. I use the same paper and have made their names out of punched paper letters that I've attached with eyelets. There is a large photo with a tag set above it showing their date of birth. Then I have a dog saying (each one different) on velum. Each stamped bulldog is colored to look just like them.Remember how I told you I could dress Louie up because "he'll do anything for a biscuit?" Well, this layout shows his award winning photo. The top left pic (with the pumpkin) won AOL's pet costume contest a few years ago. I took some felt, painted a skull and cross bones on it and made him a vest. Then found a kiddie pirate hat, eye patch and bandana. Put them all on him and posed him with the pumpkin in the leaves. One of my favorite pictures! Anytime Louie sees my camera, he goes into "pose" mode. I can arrange him and he'll just sit there until I'm done. Of course, I'd better "pay" (biscuits) him afterwards!
Scroll down to the posts below. There is a SVG of a Dobie and cat digital artwork.
And don't forget...You can still make a donation for the CAT Word Book. I'll announce later just how much money will be donated to the animal shelter.
