If you're not sure what I'm talking about, head over to Tim's
BLOG and prepare to be amazed! He has complete step-by-step instructions for you plus lots of cool tips.
After learning my lesson on cutting Grungeboard with my Cricut, I used Grungepaper to cut the snow man and it cut like butter. It was still strong enough to take the crackle paint.
I also created a similar SVG file as Tim's snowflake edge die and cut it, as he suggested, on packaging...which DID NOT cut well with the Cricut, even with a deep cut blade. I had to do a lot of hand cutting with a craft knife. If I do it again, I'll use my regular (and thinner) acetate.
I love the soft look of the tulle! Bought a big roll of it so I'm sure it will get lots of use. I've also been using the heck out of my seam binding. Very versatile as you can color it (or leave it white as I did here). I took a clear button and pounced on alcohol inks to color it.
I will definitely be using the techniques Tim showed on this tag on many other things in the future.
