Creative Cutting Challenge -- Spooky Spider Card

I love to create (both designing in SCAL and making) shaped cards.  I think that they are fun to receive because they are so unique.  I especially love to send them to my young nieces and nephews.  So this spider card was created with my five year old nephew in mind....just the right amount of "spooky-ness" for a young boy!  I cut it from black cardstock (legs on the back page of card) and accented it by embossing the front layer with a circle design Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.  To make the legs stand out I added Black Diamond Stickles, which also had the added effect of making them a little sturdier.  Finally, I used heavy coats of Glossy Accents on the eyelids and eyeballs to give them dimension.

Here's the SVG cutting file that you can purchase HERE.

If you also use SVG (or similar files) and an electronic cutting machine, I invite you to join in the newest Challenge---HALLOWEEN CARDS.  Get the details HERE.  And if you don't have an electronic cutter (yet!), please click over anyway and check out the awesome Design Team Halloween card inspiration.  I'm sure you can apply those ideas to whatever type of papercrafting you do!
