Hand Painted Primitive Chair

One of the hardest parts of painting on furniture, at least for me, is deciding on the best design for the piece.  For this particular chair, I wanted to keep the worn and rustic look to it, painting only on the raised seat portion.  I thought that a primitive design would best suit it's style.  I looked through all my pattern ideas and settled on this one--a portion of a Terrye French design.  I designed and added the "Home" portion to it to finish it off.
Here's a closer look at the design.
This piece will be going with me to a vintage and antique sale show this spring...unless it sells before hand!  I have three more chairs I'll be working on soon.  Still deciding which painting design will look best on them.
