Like most paper crafters I jumped on the Washi tape bandwagon big time. Then kinda forgot about all those rolls stored so nicely on my little washi roll tower! When I needed a batch of cards, I decided to start using (and stop hoarding) all that lovely tape.
Shown here is the first card I made.
I used a simple white card stock base. Added three strips of Washi tape right to the card stock. Next I added a cool piece of ephemera (also found in my stash) and framed it with a piece of scrap embossed purple paper (which I distressed on the edges to match the ephemera).
Simple and yet the yellow tape really pops!
