January has two of my sibling's birthdays in it. Luckily I planned ahead on the cards as I came down with a nasty bug right before their big days! This winter card was created for my brother. He hunts deer right from his home so I thought the scene was appropriate! The stamp set I used is "White Christmas" from Stampin Up. I used Jet Black Archival ink to stamp the designs on watercolor paper. Then I colored with Distress Markers and a water pen. The image is placed over a sheet of lighter blue embossed with snowflakes. The sentiment (Lawn Fawn) was stamped on a scrap strip of blue designer paper and attached with a shrink plastic snowflake. Everything was attached to a darker blue card base.
