Winter Window Birthday Card

I created this card for my dear MIL who loves to feed the birds.  The stamp set I used is "White Christmas" from Stampin Up.  I used Jet Black Archival ink to stamp the designs on watercolor paper.  Then I colored with Distress Markers and a water pen.  It's hard to tell, but I added a coat of icicle Stickles onto the snow and in some of the snowflakes.  I cut the image into strips and attached them to the card front so that they resembled a "window".
Over that I added the HAPPY banner, punched (Stampin Up) from burgundy cardstock.  I stamped the uppercase letters with white ink and then went over each letter with icicle Stickles.  BIRTHDAY was stamped with black ink.
