Finishing up the 2013 Scrapbook

During my annual "Girls Weekend" held earlier this month, I was able to do a few scrapbook pages and was very pleased to actually finish up the 2013 book....now I'm only 15 months behind!  lol
Here are a few details on the top pages which commemorate our annual shopping weekend.  My sisters and I take our mom for a long weekend of shopping, dining and reconnecting.
I used thick chipboard letters for the heading.  I painted them to match the paper and then used a stamp and paint to add some similar texture.

I love this photo but when the layout was all done, I noticed a spot of glue on the picture.  I tried to get it off but ended up smearing it across the photo...oh no!  So I added the wording to try and cover it it.

Here's the New Year's Eve house party layout....a perfect ending to the 2013 scrapbook!
