Christmas in July!

I reached back into the archives to share this primitive Christmas tree with you.  I painted it a few years ago and donated it to a local charity auction.  Not sure who ended up with it but I hope that they still love it.  Unfortunately I don't remember who the designer was.
The ornaments were simple wooden "nickel" discs that I painted design elements on.
A quick pass under the drill press and then wired to the tree branch.

The tree sat in a short sided crock.

The tree was finished off with rusty hearts, strips of homespun and bunches of bittersweet.
Topped with a painted wooden star.
