Quick & Easy Charms

Well, I'm off on a great "Creative Weekend" with my Mom, Sisters and Best Peep Sue.  Of course I wanted to make a little something to give them so I made up these charms.  I have lots of beautiful double sided paper and what a great way to use it...as jewelry!  I simply took my round punch to an interesting part of the paper then adhered it to the flat back of the crystal drop (Darice's "Signed, Sealed & Remembered" altered art jewelry line) with a thin coat of Glossy Accents.  Once dry, I added another thin coat (with my finger) to the exposed paper on the back to seal it.  I let it dry well and then added the jump ring and lobster clasp.  Easy Peasy!

FYI...I found the great crystal drops from a fantastic local craft store-- Arnie's Arts & Crafts in Houghton Lake, Michigan.  If you're ever on your way "up north", be sure and stop in...but plan to be there a few hours as it is LOADED with all kinds of creative goodies!!
