In celebration of "National Scrapbooking Day" on May 5th, I'm devoting ten whole days of blogging to showcasing some of my recent scrapbook pages.
Starting off is this page I did for Father's Day 2010 (yes...I'm behind!).
The base is a cute green paper with nuts and bolts printed on it (sorry, don't remember the maker). I backed the photos with a green, cream and blue striped paper. The ticket is a sticker from SRM Press.
The vinyl "rulers" were cut from a page out of the "Tattered Time" stack from DCWV. The "screws" are brads from Oriental Trading Company.
The wrench heading and the journaling bolt were cut on my Cricut using SCAL and SVG files I designed. If you'd like to have them too, you can get the set HERE.
Hope to see you back tomorrow for another scrapbook layout!

Cool layout, I'm behind too. I have that same paper pack and never thought to use the ruler as a border but it makes complete sense.
I love how all your elements tie into the theme but don't overwhelm the photos. Very nice!
