Shimmery Christmas Card

This cut-out Christmas tree card is my DT submission for the latest Creative Cutting Challenge--"Christmas Cards".  I hope that if you also use an electronic cutting machine and software to create with that you'll join us.  Even if you don't, you really need to click over and see all the awesome DT projects.  Lots of Christmas card inspiration there!

My Christmas card is loaded with holiday sparkle and shine.  I used a cream cardstock base and cut out the Christmas tree design using this SVG--
I stamped on the swirl background using gold ink and sprayed it with my homemade glimmer spray.  Underneath that I placed green shimmery paper for the tree.  I used gold shiny paper under the star/shine portion and bordered the cream base in it as well.
I added Stickles to the bottom portion of each "swirl" of the tree.  I used a thin paint brush to smooth out the Stickles, eliminating any hard line of sparkle.  (Be sure to rinse your brush out very well when done).  The green gems were added to the "ball ornament" areas.  Finally I finished off the front with a sentiment stamped on a strip of the same gold paper, cut and folded into a banner.  I then attached the complete front to a folded card base.

Cindy, the colors and shimmer is perfect for a Holiday card. Love the swirls in the cut file too!
