50th Birthday Card

Time to jump back into crafting after the holidays.  I've got lots to share with you and am also introducing a new monthly feature--Fourth Friday Freebie.  On the fourth Friday of every month, there will be a free SVG file and inspiration to create with it.  The SVG Challenge blog Creative Cutting Challenge will also be starting up next week, so get ready for more inspiration, fun and prizes!

One of my sisters recently turned 50.  And if you've been there, you know that for some people that particular birthday hits pretty hard.  I think she took it well, but I wanted to make a "sweet card" to soften the blow.  This card is an easel cut out card SVG that I created using my electronic cutter.  (Sorry, I don't remember who the designer is)
The paper I used is a super yummy collection from Authentique called "Sweetness".  These papers have pretty pink, turquoise, white and chocolate elements, that include ice cream cone, sprinkles and ice cream sundae patterns.  Delicious!
I kept the front of the card fairly simple, using dimension and sparkle (from Stickles) to add interest.

A lovely card. I appreciate the simplicity.
