Creative Card Making--Part 2

In last week's post I told you about this little card kit from K&Company.  It was super easy to add some bits and pieces to the pretty bases and create some really beautiful (and coordinated) cards. To see the first three cards, click HERE.
Here are the next three cards I created...you'll notice a bird theme going on with these!
Card number one features two die cuts--the bird on a branch (Tim Holtz) and the embossed frame (Spellbinders).  I "grunged up" the frame with a texture stamp and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  The "rivets" are Liquid Pearls dots.  The bird and branch also received some of that ink.  The sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) was created on the kit's die cut with Sepia Archival Ink.
Card number two uses the same same bird die cut (this time using cream cardstock) and a label die (Tim Holtz).  I used Distress markers and a water pen to shade both the label and the bird.  The label frame border was done with a thin black marker.  The sentiment was stamped same as first card.
Here's a closer look at the coloring done on the bird and branch.

This final bird card was super easy...I simply cut two pieces, one from cream and one from brown cardstock and slightly off set them to create a shadow.  Added a Liquid Pearls eye.  Same sentiment technique.
Check back Wednesday for the final two cards reveal!
