I reached back into the archives to share this primitive Christmas tree with you. I painted it a few years ago and donated it to a local charity auction. Not sure who ended up with it but I hope that they still love it. Unfortunately I don't remember who the designer was.
The ornaments were simple wooden "nickel" discs that I painted design elements on.
A quick pass under the drill press and then wired to the tree branch.
The tree sat in a short sided crock.
The tree was finished off with rusty hearts, strips of homespun and bunches of bittersweet.
Topped with a painted wooden star.
