Here's a metal cake cover that I upcycled with chalk and acrylic paint.
This is quite a tall cover and it fit nicely on this stainless cake stand that I recently found at a garage sale.
The white bottom and blue top are chalk paint. All the detail painting was done with acrylic paint.
I came up with this design but was inspired by the cake cover that I found on Pinterest
Here's a close up of one of the roses.
The top has a line work border. I replaced the boring black plastic knob with this white porcelain one.
A sweet way to store a cake or just add some cottage chic style to your kitchen!
