This tray was done using chalk paint from DecoArt Americana (Everlasting). As I am now out of that paint, for future projects I'm going to mix up a batch of white chalk paint using the recipe I wrote about last week..
I used the poly transfer technique to add the vintage typography from The Graphics Fairy. I used dark paint to flyspeck and antique the piece. If you've ever thought about trying an image transfering project, check out The Graphic Fairy's blog. She has several techniques, lots of images and many inspirational craft projects.
