Chalk Painted French Nesting Tables

I've been in the French sign mood lately.  Here is a set of nesting tables I painted using chalk paint (DecoArt Americana Decor Chalky Finish - Serene and my own home made white). You'll see that I gave them a chipped distressed look by adding black underneath.
The design shown above is from my favorite site, The Graphics Fairy,
For these tables I hand painted the designs instead of transferring it.
After painting I sanded the designs to distress them.
Here's a closer look...

This design came from an actual wine label that Chateau Maison Blanche uses.
I thought that it went well with the other design.
Together they look like they came from vintage french hotels.
This set will be for sale at this weekend's
If you're in north western Michigan, I hope you'll stop by!

Wonderful pieces. Did they sell or did you get to take them home and use them? I am a new follower. I love french too.

Hi Donna! Welcome!! They did not sell on their first outing but I will be taking them to a much larger show in August so we will see. I thought I had a very reasonable price on them ($65 for the set). And stay tuned! I have several more French themed pieces to show off.
