I designed and painted these faux tree farm signs. Using Americana Decor Chalky Finish chalk paint, I based the wooden signs with Primitive. The details were also painted with chalk paint--Enchanted (green) and Romance (red). I used regular acrylic white and black paint.
To distress the sign, I horizontally wiped on Rustic (brown) and then sanded.
If you like the sign below, I've attached the jpg of the typography so you can paint your own.
Simply print out to the size of your surface, put on tracing paper and transfer the design.
Use a brush to paint the lettering. If you are not steady, use a paint pen.
