Chairs are always a popular seller at my vintage and craft shows. I painted this one up in black and red chalk paint this summer and then left it until late fall to put the design on.
I chose a winter scene for the seat. It is my adaption of a design by Trudy Beard.
On the chair back, I created the typography and hand painted a simple "Silent Night" on the back in white. I outlined the wording with black. The entire chair received several coats of polyacrylic to protect it. It sold at our November Open House Event.
