Sharing: Fall Tag

I used the "Leaves & Acorn" border from my newest SVG set and created this fall tag:
I actually used the file two ways...
I cut the top portion on acetate and created a mask.
Then I cut both layers on orange and brown cardstock and cut the elements apart.
Here's how I made the tag:
1.  First I got out my brand new bottle of Vintage Photo Distress Stain and covered the tag.
This was the first time I used Distress Stain and I love it!  (See my other use below)
Next, I ripped a piece a book page diagonally and glued to half of the tag.
2.  After adding Stencil Adhesive, I placed the mask I created diagonally on the tag and applied Distress Inks--Walnut Stain on the left (darker) side and Vintage Photo on the right (book page) side.
3.  I stamped on the sentiments with Archival Ink--Jet Black on the top and Coffee on the side.  I used Orange Marmalade DI and a water brush to add a little color under the sentiment on the book page side.
4.  I also used the Distress Inks and water brush to add color and dimension to the orange paper of the cut out border.  I glued the pieces to the tag and added Vintage Photo Stickles to the brown layer.
5.  Using copper wire, beads and a brass charm, I created the embellishments.
6.  Added two ribbons.  The orange ribbon was too bright so I toned it down easily using the Distress Stain.  Another great use for the Stains!

Great tag! I honestly would not have thought of cutting a mask on acetate from a top layer....or any layer for that matter...thanks for sharing

Very pretty! The beads and copper wire help give it some great dimension.
