Slate Ornament

Just six weeks until Christmas so it's time to get the ornaments ready to decorate the tree.

This little heart slate was given to me by my sister.  She picked several of them up from Target right after Valentine's Day at a big discount.  Just like yesterday's ornament.  So my tip for you is to check the big clearance sales after all holidays to see what you can pick up.  Think outside the box...hearts work for just about anything!

This design (by Nancy Scott) was originally made to fit a square surface.  By slightly turning the design, it fit perfectly on the heart.
